Hollywood megastar Angelina Jolie, the United Nations ambassador for refugees, has been honoured with a citizenship of Cambodia from Norodom Sihamoni, the King of Cambodia, one of the most beautiful countries of the world. By Vimla Patil

Mumbai: Aug 24, 2005/Sawf News Service/ — It is now official! Hollywood megastar Angelina Jolie, the United Nations ambassador for refugees, has been honoured with a citizenship of Cambodia from Norodom Sihamoni, the King of Cambodia, one of the most beautiful countries of the world. Jolie has been a regular traveler to this country after she adopted Maddox, an orphaned boy from that country in 2001. Jolie recently bought a home in Cambodia to strengthen her bonds with the country from where her son comes. When offered the citizenship by Cambodia’s Prime Minister Hun Sen, she said she was thrilled to accept the honour. Jolie has been doing a fabulous job of bring the situation of war refugees into the limelight through her relentless work.
