It seemed somehow ridiculous to me that Angelina chose to wear a $26.00 dress. I personally regarded it more of a mockery than an act of frugality for which she deserved to be admired. What was she trying to say after all? I admire her generally, but I definitely thought the $26 vintage dress was more to try to make herself appear more down to earth and “like the rest of us” than she could possibly be.
