Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are set to defy rumors they’re heading for splitsville — by splashing out $45million on a French chateau, according to new reports. The couple have purchased the 17th-Century Chateau Miraval, set on a 1,000-acre estate in Provence, for $35million. And they’ll shell out an extra $10million turning the thirty-five bedroom home into the “love nest of all love nests”. The couple will add steam rooms, jacuzzis, a spa and a new gym. A motorbike track is also to be built, while helicopter landing facilities are going to be improved. “They want to make sure this very romantic property becomes the love nest of all love nests,” a local property developer told Britain’s Sunday Mirror newspaper. “Brad is looking into local schools for the kids, and both he and Angelina are improving their French.” Security around the house will be improved hugely, to include a surveillance center, spy cameras, alarms, and infra-red sensors. Some work has started, while more complicated renovations still need to be agreed by the local council. Jean-Claude Sadion, mayor of the nearby town of Correns, said, “The application has been received for widespread work on their new house, and we are delighted that they will be here more permanently. They are a wonderful couple with beautiful children and we will hold a civic reception to honor them.”
Angelina Jolie could get the chance to work with Quentin Tarantino — the acclaimed director is eying her for his next movie project. Jolie’s partner Brad Pitt stars in Tarantino’s new movie Inglourious Basterds. And the Pulp Fiction movie maker says he’d love Jolie to follow in Pitt’s footsteps and let him direct her. “I would love to work with [Angelina],” Tarantino told E! News. “It just has to be the right character.” When quizzed on what type of character Jolie would play, Quentin said, “Oh, I don’t know yet! I can’t answer like that. I have to write it and come up with the character first.” And what about working with Brad and Angelina — together? “If I were lucky enough and could write something that’s appropriate, I would love it if they wanted to,” he said.

The Jolie-Pitt family drove a rental car without any security. On August 28, Angelina and Shiloh were caught shopping at a market in Ajaccio, France. The mother-daughter pair was seen talking with locals before hopping into their Mazda car. Thanks to JustJared for these infos!
Hollywood siren Megan Fox hates being compared to superstar Angelina Jolie because she believes that they have nothing in common except their hair and tattoos. The Transformers beauty, who is known for speaking up her mind has often been touted as the next Jolie in the industry, but Fox does not like the comparison even if she considers it positive, People reported online. “People see a dark-haired girl with tattoos who’s in an action movie, and it’s ‘She’s the next Angelina’. But I have nothing in common with her. If someone were to tell me she’s a vampire, I’d go ‘Yeah, okay, totally,” says Fox.
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s young daughter Shiloh is set to follow in her famous parents’ footsteps – the tot wants to be an actress. The three year old appeared briefly in last year’s The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button, alongside her 45-year-old father. And the youngster has shown such an interest in acting, the Hollywood stars are even considering enrolling her into drama classes, according to Britain’s Daily Star newspaper. A source tells the publication, “Shiloh’s a mix of the two best-looking actors in the world – she was born to be a star. “Brad and Ange were worried about her interest in acting, however they vow to let their kids pursue their dreams. They’re thinking abut enrolling her into a performing arts school.”
Wanted director Timur Bekmambetov has made no secret of his desire to bring Angelina Jolie back for the sequel to last year’s hit film based loosely on the comic book series by Mark Millar and J.G. Jones. However, her character’s final scene in the film made such a return unlikely—if not impossible. While Jolie previously told MTV News she didn’t think her character, Fox, would be making a comeback for Wanted 2, it’s worth noting that this is still the world of comic books—and as all fans know, no character stays away very long in comics. In fact, when we spoke to Bekmambetov recently, he not only reiterated his plans to bring Jolie’s character back, but he said they already have a plan for how it’s going to happen.

Angelina Jolie and Megan Fox are reportedly both up for the part of the title character in a remake of the 1968 sci-fi classic Barbarella. The iconic role originally saw Jane Fonda play the mercenary of the future hunting the evil Durand-Durand, making her a worldwide sex symbol. An insider said: “This will be the first time Angie and Megan have ever faced off for the same role. “Whoever gets the part will become the absolute number one Hollywood sex symbol on the planet.” According to the Daily Star, the original producer Dino De Laurentiis has said that Jolie or Fox would ensure that the remake is a huge hit. Jessica Alba was recently reported as the favourite for the role.
Angelina Jolie’s late mother Marcheline Bertrand left a large portion of her estate to the three grandchildren she met before she lost her cancer battle in 2007. The actress passed away following a lengthy fight against ovarian cancer in January 2007, aged 56, and left her estate to her Oscar-winning daughter and son James Haven. As executors of the estate, Jolie and Haven put the final court papers in to a Los Angeles court earlier this month. And Bertrand had left her beloved grandchildren $100,000 (£66,000) each – but only the ones she had met before her tragic demise. Adopted Maddox and Zahara, as well as Jolie and partner Brad Pitt’s biological daughter Shiloh, will receive a large part of their grandmother’s will. However, adopted Pax, and twins Knox and Vivienne, will not receive inheritance. Pax was adopted two months after his grandmother’s death, while the twins were born in July 2008. Bertrand also left money to her sister, brother and nephews. The full amount of her estate’s worth was $661,000 (£440,000).
